Shots of the soon to be released NOKIA 5800

Nokia jumps the touchscreen bandwagon with the new nokia 5800 (nick named TUBE).

Specs that were stated by a Czech site are:

• 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 16 Million colors
• 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus
• Quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE radio
  • 3G UMTS/HSDPA
• Bluetooth 2.0
• WiFi
• GPS
• 3.5mm headphone jack
• TV-out port
• 140MB on-board storage
• 111 x 52 x 14.5 mm
• 104g

Hmmm sounds high end but Nokia stated that the 5800 will target the middle market level and a higher end touch screen phone would be released later.

This phone would put Nokia into the bounderies of IPhone territory I just hope that the new Symbian S60 touch OS would be up to the challenge of dethroning the multi touch freak that is Iphone.
